As for salutation upon the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, its virtue is great and benefit in this world and the hereafter for those who are excessive in it are plenty. Allah the Exalted said: 'Indeed All ah and His angles confer blessings upon the Prophet, O believers! Confer blessings upon him and salute him with a worthy salutation' [33:56]
